Tax Information

U.S. citizens and resident aliens generally must file income tax returns, whether they live in the U.S. or abroad.  Unfortunately, the Embassy cannot offer any tax advice. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) provides tax assistance through their regional office located at the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany.
