In honor of the World Day of Remembrance for victims of road crashes designated by the U.S. Congress for November 18, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan is launching a Traffic Safety Video Contest with the purpose of attracting public attention to this critical issue.  Participants are invited to take videos that illustrate the need to take measures to improve road safety for both pedestrians and drivers, post the videos on YouTube.com  and send a link to BakuCulture@state.gov  no later than December 18, 2007. Please note: do not send videos to BakuCulture@state.gov, only YouTube links. Those who submit the winning videos will be awarded portable digital camcorders.
