Postponement of Machine-Readable Passport Requirement for certain countries

Per a State Department announcement released on September 24, 2003, the deadline has been postponed until October 26, 2004 for visa waiver travelers from 21 countries. The countries for which the postponement has been granted are: Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Please note that the following five countries have not been granted a postponement: Andorra, Brunei, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, and Slovenia.
