Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program
The Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program provides fellowships for Master’s degree-level study to emerging leaders from Eurasia for study in the United States in the various fields. The program provides fellows with intensive academic study and professional training in their chosen fields. In addition to their academic programs, Muskie fellows gain exposure to American values through community service activities and develop professional skills through a full-time internship in their field of study. The program is open to graduate students and professionals from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan for one-year non-degree, one-year degree or two-year degree study in the United States. Eligible fields of study include: business administration, economics, education, environmental policy and management, international affairs, journalism and mass communication, law, library and information science, public administration, public health and public policy.

Applications are currently available for the 2012 cycle of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program. Paper applications, including all supporting documents, are due to the IREX office in your country of citizenship by 5 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Online applications may be submitted until 11:59 AM EST Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
